Beaches, Booze and Break-Ins: 5 Favorite Things about Spring Break in Miami

I recently went to Miami for Spring Break with the girlfriend and a few friends. In short, it was AMAZING. Nice weather, eye candy, beaches, and credit card debt. After the fun was all said and done, I sat on the plane and reminisced about the trip. I wrote down my five favorite things about Spring Break in Miami, and I'm sharing them with you as an introduction to List Wiz. (In no particular order.

1.) Luxury Cars
Have you ever seen a Rolls Royce not at the auto show? Well I can say I have now. Amongst many other luxury cars. Corvette's, Souped up Mustangs and I'm pretty sure I saw a Maserati in passing. I guess it's standard to have a nice ride in Miami. Remember that.

2.) Chillin on South Beach
South Beach is one of the more gorgeous beaches there is. Our hotel was literally a 5 minute walk away which was nice. I got a good deal of reading done, the ladies got their tan on, and I got to scope out some good looking women. (Just kidding babe). It's one of those places where you have effortless epiphanies. Things just kind of come into focus.

3.) Breaking into the Loews Hotel
Break-in is a strong way of putting it, so let's just say we weren't supposed to be there. Here's the short story: Our hotel didn't have a hot tub, and we really wanted one. So at around Midnight, we went on an adventure to find one. We "pre-gamed" at our hotel and walked the beach side looking for a back way into one of the nicer hotels. There was another group of kids doing the same thing. They advised that we "act like we own the place", so we wouldn't look suspicious. It worked. That's the long and short to it, and based on our experience, it works on about 3 other hotels in on Collins Ave. Chances are, we'll try to stay there next time. It's a gorgeous hotel.

4.) Wet Willies
Wet Willies is an amazingly bar on Ocean Drive that specializes in alcoholic Slushies. Talk about the perfect combination. Warm weather and slushy's with an awesome view of the beach right outside. If you ever make it to Miami, you have to check them out. They're kind of pricey, but they have a drink called the "Call-A-Cab". I mean, c'mon. That says it all.

5.) Five Guys Burgers and Fries
Oh Em Gee! Three words to describe 5 Guys. Five Guys is a burger franchise located in Miami, Florida amongst a few other location. They stay open super late, till around 4 a.m. I believe, and give you food for two with virtually everything on the menu. Their Cajun fries are great and they offer unlimited toppings like jalapeƱos, and mushrooms for no extra charge. Completely customized, huge portions and free drink refills. It was a great cap off to a night on the town.
